Computer on Module (COM) - Successful deployment
ARBOR has been delivering numerous successful projects of full fleet COM products in different form factor - ETX, XTX, COM Express.
- Car PC & Mini-controller
- POS / Kiosk
- Tablet PC
- Home/Industrial Automation
- Multimedia
- Security Terminal
- Automotive Terminal
- Medical Computing
COM Express is a PICMG standard
that defines a Computer-On-Module, or COM, packaged as a super component. It provides a smooth transition path from legacy parallel interfaces to LVDS interfaces.
XTX is fully compliant to the ETX
specification with the exception for X2 (ISA bus) connector signal definition. The ISA bus signals have been replaced by state of the art interface technologies such as bellow
- PCI Express
- Express Card
- Serial ATA
- 6 x USB 2.0
- Digital Audio Interface(AC'97 or HDA)
- LPC Interface
- Additional control signals

ETX stands for Embedded Technology
eXtended and defines a new standard for industrial SOM (System-on-Module) applications in a 114mm x 95mm form factor.
ETX CPU Module (Ready-to-use, Scalable, Flexible)
ARBOR's ETX CPU modules integrate all of the typical embedded PC features (Serial, Parallel, Audio, LAN, Video) in a scalable platform. ARBOR offers Intel, AMD and Via processors to meet different performance requirements.
